08/06/05 - Webster Co. Community Fund 2nd Annual Golf Tournament

$10,000.00 Hole-In-One Prize

MVGC will be hosting the 2nd annual Webster County Community Fund golf outing on Saturday, August 6th. New for this year's tournament is a $10,000 prize for any participant who shoots a hole-in-one on hole #14 during tournament play (One shot per contestant, no practice shots, no mulligans and no substitutions).

Start Times: 9am and 2pm
Highland Trace Golf Ass'n Members: $40.00
Non-Members: $50.00
Mulligans: 3 for $10.00
After tournament meal included for all playing participants.

05/27/05 - Woodchopping Festival Tournament a Great Success

MVGC recently hosted the annual Webster County Woodchopping Festival golf tournament, its largest and most successful tournament to date, with more than 20 2-man teams competing. In addition to prizes for the top finishing teams, a number of additional prizes were awarded for games on individual holes.

2nd Place - Donnie Mullens & Dennis Wilson (-12) - $250.00
3rd Place - Eric Carpenter & David Vandevender (-11) - $200.00
4th Place - John Estep & Don Rose (-10) - $100.00

05/14/05 - Benefit Tournament for Webster County Youth

MVGC recently hosted the Benefit Tournament for Webster County Youth. Each of the winning teams received golf packages for The Raven at Snowshoe.

04/01/05 - We're Open!!!

Mountain View Golf Course opened it's gates for the 2005 season on April 1st. The course is in great shape after a mild winter and we look forward to seeing you.

04/01/05 - Golf League Returns

Just like last year, we will be hosting 9-hole league tournaments each Tuesday @ 5PM and Friday @ 10AM, weather permitting. Come and join the fun.
