The 9th and final hole at MVGC is a par 4 dogleg right that wraps around a stand of tall trees just to the left of the #8 green and ends up on a large green right beside the clubhouse.

Both sets of tees are positioned such that the tall trees just to the left of the #8 green are directly between the tee boxes and the #9 green. This gives you two shot options -- go over the trees or around them. If you choose to go over, make sure you clear the trees, or your ball could end anywhere from the middle of the fairway to the far side of the #8 green, depending on which way your ball bounces around the tree limbs. If you choose to go around the trees, you must be sure that your ball lands on the upper-left side of the fairway or it will roll all the way to the bottom of the fairway on the right side.

The green on this hole slopes significantly from left to right, but is relatively wide open, with only a small sand trap near the upper left side of the green.
